Baba Bulay Shah?
Assalamu'alaykum,
I'm looking for *anything* in English on a saint named "Baba Bulay Shah" of "Kasur" (in Modern day Pakistan).
I found 1 article and another book on him in English (by the same author of the other book on him referenced earlier). The article looks at Bullhe Shah's role in the Punjabi Sufi poetic tradition and the book is a punch of translations of his poems, and most likely includes a chapter on his life and times. Here are the references:
1. Puri, Rakshat. "Bulleh Shah in Punjabi poetic tradition." In Crossing boundaries. Ed. Geeti Sen. London & Delhi: Sangam, 1997, pp. 126-138.
2. The mystic muse: Sain Bulleh Shah; translated by Kartar Singh Duggal. Delhi: Abhinav Publications, 1996. 272pp.
InshaAllah a google search on "Baba Bulley Shah" yeilds plenty o'results
ReplyDeleteShukran, Sidi Alex. Mawlana Google Sahib is always a helpful resource.
ReplyDeleteIf anyone knows of any books/articles, etc, please do let me know as well.
