There was a man who was very concerned with the outwards of purification, always making sure he was clean and polished. Upon seeing him, a saint exclaimed "you are so concerned about the purification of your outward, and yet you have never looked to the purification of your inward filth!".
A good reminder to those of us with mild symptoms of OCD : )
