30 Days as a Muslim in America
Really cute video about a white, Christian, American who goes to 'live as a Muslim' for 30 days.
[As Dave leaves the company of his Muslim hosts to return home to his family and everyone exchanges their goodbyes, Shamael adds: "salam `alaykum again" and Dave raises his hand over his head behind him as he keeps walking and passes through the door.]
Shamael turns to his wife Sadia [quizically]: "Yo, did he just flip me off?"
Sadia to Shamael [with hand on hip]: No. DUDE! It was a "peace sign" [She holds up two fingers to demonstrate].
every masjid in america should buy a dvd of that show and donate it to thier local public library. it is really good.
